Preparing For A Wedding In The Country
Getting invited to a real country wedding is a great event. They are very happy and noisy events especially if it will take place in one of those huge ranches. This does not mean that the guests are not elegant and fancy. I have seen men and women wearing hats and brown boots that are worth more than my complete tuxedo.
That is the truth there is nothing written about how people will react to a given event which will affect the, for the rest of their lives. There are many stories of people who have not been able to deal with it and have disappeared days before the wedding leaving everything in the air. It is not easy to cope with the stress and preparations.
With the list in place, give or take a few more friend and family forgotten in the rush, it is time to find a church and reception hall. Day wedding or night wedding, summer, spring, inside or outside, these are the first decisions that have to be taken. Little by little the large things start to fall into place so the smaller details can be worked out.
A mans wedding band has to be chosen between one hundred mens wedding bands in the jewelry store and your boyfriend does not like the one that matches your wedding band and hell breaks loose. Conflict rages between you and it is decided to let it pass for now. You will discuss it later. There are too many details to take care of now.
Brides maids and their companions have to get dresses and tuxedos. The bride will need her wedding dress which normally takes forever to make and fit to perfection. The groom has to buy his tuxedo; he cannot use a rental for his own wedding. Parents, nephews, children, everybody has to be fitted either for a dress or a tuxedo.
Since there were problems on the first trip to the jewelry store when choosing between the wedding bands for men, a second trip under severe warning and threat is required for the groom to accept his wedding band. Everybody is finally dressed and ready for the big day while the details continue to be covered and checked out.
They kiss and the priests declares them hitched, the organ music escorts them into the garden where the fun finally begins. Their first dance is a slow dance accompanied by fiddles and guitar strings. They sway to the music and promise eternal love. Life is just beginning and so is one of the best parties held on that year.
