Images of nature, HenryVlll and his wifes also random waterfall pictures
it’s a really relaxing song and chills you out there’s another version called ‘what child is this?’
Lyrics:

Alas, my love, you do me wrong
To cast me off discourteously
and I have loved you so long
Delighting in your company

Greensleeves was all my joy
Greensleeves was my delight
Greensleeves was my heart of gold
And who but my lady Greensleeves

I have been ready at your hand
To grant whatever you would crave
I have both wagered life and land
Your love and good-will for to have

Greensleeves was all my joy
Greensleeves was my delight
Greensleeves was my heart of gold
And who but my lady Greensleeves

Well, I will pray to God on high
that thou my constancy mayst see
And that yet once before I die
Thou wilt vouchsafe to love me

Greensleeves was all my joy
Greensleeves was my delight
Greensleeves was my heart of gold
And who but my lady Greensleeves
(lyrics give to me by prup3) Thanks

    wasn’t Martin …
wasn’t Martin Luther to translate the bible first? True Henry 8th and Martin Luther lived around the same time but still, if I remember correctly Luther translated the bible and soon it was copied then into other languages….

    To say that …
To say that religion has been the reason for mostr wars in the last 100 years isn’t historically accurate. You’ll find no war where there didn’t stand economic interests or benefits behind the war.

  • Cheerioats says:

    The war in Iraq …
The war in Iraq doesn’t have to do with religion, Afghanistan doesn’t and in Congo it isn’t about religion either. There may be fundamentalist Al Qaida or Taliban members involved in the war but they sure as aren’t that important to the western politicians that they would start a war with them because of their belief.

  • Cheerioats says:

    That’s ridicculous, …
That’s ridicculous, religion may have been the outer reason for wars, but behind that always stood and still stands financial, economical interests. WW 1 and 2 didn’t have anything to with religion.

So just to ned your …
So just to ned your guys’ discussion: Religion sucks. It’s a based on bedtime stories invented by some people who could not explain what was happening in Nature.
Also, religion is the cause of at least 90% of all wars in the last 100 years.
Conclusion: The world would be a better place without religion, though it’s just opinion..

    However i hope you …
However i hope you know that i am not being rue or disrespectful to the church i am just stating fact. The church now is far better and does much more good, but the church back there was just pure evil. I honor Jesus and God and do believe in them to an extent but certaintly not in the way the church does, i believe they just used jesus as an excuse to manipulate people for wealth and power. Though i mean no offence.

    endora60 i could …
endora60 i could not disagree with you more. It would not have been beter if she was a church and the catholic church certaintly isn’t true in my opinion. They were murderous, the caused great destruction and suffering. I blame them for what was wrong in that time. This had a very strong impact on the Renaissance, making people think, hey wait a second so i don’t have to be catholic. This was a huge relisation and he did a good thing seperating them from the evil of the church in that era.

  • helainyily says:

    Henry viii, was the …
Henry viii, was the first english monarch to authorise the translation of the bible, from latin to english. The break from the catholic church was a big break through during the renaissance. I think that was one of the main things that influenced it. to make people think, hey wait a second, so i can choose not to be catholic. However all the monarchs were forced the new faith and if they did not agree charged with death. It was not until Elizabeth it was truly free and great. In my opinion.

    Perhaps, you should …
Perhaps, you should grow up. I was simply arguing the claim that England would have been better off had it remained a fervent Catholic nation. Clearly, history dictates otherwise as the break with Rome provided the English treasury with monies to build its Navy as well as the countless buildings of the era that were built with funds confiscated from the Catholic monasteries and abbeys.

  • sunnyhart83080 says:

    I wasn’t talking …
I wasn’t talking about one religion being better than the other, simply that England would not have flourished like it did had it not been for the Protestant Reformation. Had England not broken from the Catholic Church, it would have been at the mercy of the Holy Roman Empire and not its own entity unlike the rest of Europe. I was discussing the cultural significance and impact that the formation of the Church of England had, not claiming one denomination was superior to another.

    Muslim Arabia …
Muslim Arabia conquered much more in less time, so if we follow your logic then islam would be a better religion. Please grow up.

  • sunnyhart83080 says:

    Actually if you …
Actually if you look at history, Protestant England flourishe in ways that Catholic nations at the time did not. In fact, of all the world powers at the time, only England truly became an empire.

    No, she was no …
No, she was no whore, but she was a witch, responsible more than anyone else–including the King, Cromwell, or Cranmer–for leading England away from the True Church. It would have been far better for Henry and for England if she HAD been only a slut.

Anne Boleyn was not a prostitute and anyone who says that obviously has not educated themselves properly in history. Too many ignorant people making ignorant remarks. Fact, King Henry is rumored to have written this melody. If he did, it is rumored that he did it before meeting Anne Boleyn.
