Can my Niece 22 age, full time student dependent on my sister get Green card?
I am US citizen, applied for my sister’s green card. Now, date is current but immigration corrospodence is missing her daugher’s name who just turned 22. She is fulltime engineering student, unmarried and completely dependent on my sister. Is there a way for her to get green card?
She should be able to get a visa as a beneficiary of your sister. She’s 22, which is too old, but the Child Status Protection Act should have prevented her from aging out.
Your sister needs to bring this to the attention of the US Consulate when she begins processing her visa.
