PostHeaderIcon What is a good book that describes the past 2 centuries in European history?

I’m looking for a non-textbook material that I can read to learn some more about European history dating back to mid 19th century. Any recommendations? It can be any form, novel to simply non-fiction. As long as it’s vivid and detailed and not boring like a textbook, then it’ll suite my needs.
Thanks!

No, I do not know any but if you call your public library or local bookstore. I am sure you can find someone able, more than willing to give you the names of some of them.

There is a book called "Europe Since 1815" but I don’t remember the author’s name. What I do know is that my teacher mentioned this book at least twice a week (apparently it was a favorite) so I think it might be worth looking into for you.

    Best of luck! :)
